The Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) is nationally recognized and registered with the United States Department of Labor. This a twoyear 4000hour minimum program will provide indepth training both on the job and in classroom to gain experience of a qualified Equipment Operator across divisions. Apprentices will be assigned to a seasoned professional as a mentor for the duration of the program. Upon successful completion participants will receive national certification. For more information on apprenticeships in Colorado go to will earn their Commercial Drivers License and certifications to qualify for a career as an Equipment Operator. The candidates will be eligible for pay increases based on successful completion of requirements.
If selected as an apprentice you will be required to sign an apprenticeship agreement and commit to the full 4000hour minimum program.
The starting hourly rate is $20.70 per hour.
This position will remain open until filled.
This apprenticeship is a 24 month max part year 40 hour per week position with Medical coverage benefit option only.

The CDL license training is subject to the condition that you must repay the City of Loveland three thousand dollars $3000.00 in the event you resign or you are terminated for cause within twentyfour (24) months after your starting date with the City. In such event you irrevocably authorize repayment of the cost by setoff from any final payment of compensation or reimbursement due to you from the City. Any remaining balance shall be paid in certified funds within thirty (30) days of such resignation or termination date.
