This is a temporary fulltime summer position with specified start and end dates.
The General Motors Manufacturing Group is seeking to identify highly motivated individuals forcurrentand potentialfutureopportunities at our Lockport facility. In anticipation of these openings becoming available we welcome you to apply so we can begin the prescreening process.

Manufacturing Production Worker Temporary Full Time
What Were Looking For:
- You prioritize a safe workplace for everyone and understand support and execute all work in a safe manner and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority.
- You thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced warehousing plant environment and learn new tasks and adapt to frequent job duty changes as required by business or manpower demands.
- Youre obsessed with precision and topnotch quality work and can complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.
- Keeping organized and participating in ongoing inventory control activities including cycle counting inventory management and analysis.
- Staying precise with tools machinery and equipment such as a tugger to load unload transfer and move materials within the assembly plant. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet.
- Youre able to read comprehend and follow written standardized work instructions and trained procedures.
- Ready to grow cooperate and contribute to our dynamic team.
Physical Requirements:
- Quick response to safety instructions alarms and signals are a must.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortably wear personal protective equipment.
- Navigate a busy environment.
- Bend twist kneel crouch and reach.
- May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department.
- Occasional sitting during certain tasks.
- Drive mobile equipment when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- 18 years old.
- Flexible shift availability.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes drug testing and a background check.
- Proficiency to listen read follow work and safety instructions.
