You will be the representative of small firms (fewer than 30 professionals) inside the AICPA and with external constituencies. You will meet with small CPA firm leaders to gain their perspectives and feedback on profession issues and AICPA activities understand their issues and represent them from an advocacy and growth perspective. You will be the voice of small firms in standard setting on small business issues and for regulatory/legislative and AICPA programs and advise them on solutions and how the AICPA can serve their needs. You will report to the CEO Public Accounting as an Individual Contributor.
You Will:
Be experienced in participation and leadership in AICPA or State Society Committees
Experience providing successful strategic direction to businesses.
Experience leading change management
Financial management and practice management experience
Demonstrated skills in complex decisionmaking and planning with CPA firms and their clients
Commitment to results rather than process; collaborative mindset public speaking skills.
Knowledge of existing and latest technologies in business the wider profession and within small CPA firms
Customer/client service orientation; creativity/innovation/entrepreneurism
Understanding of professional association dynamics
100% remote including travel for up to 40% of time for firm visits committee meetings public speaking events small firm group events internal meetings and external conferences.

Experience servicing clients as an owner of a small CPA firm

The Salary Range for this role is: $275000$350000 per annum.
