Job Description

  • The Sales District Manager will be responsible for the sales operations including strategies and results in assigned area of responsibility.

  • Plans and directs all sales activities including planning and implementing forecasts development plans implementing and/or developing the sales strategies and tactics managing customer relationships driving connection to current and emerging customer

  • Establishes short and longterm goals and quotas in alignment with company objectives.

  • Responsible for improving customer sales coverage in assigned territory and markets sustaining and growing current installed base accounts identifying and penetrating competitive accounts and capturing new startups and corporate expansions.

  • Key target markets include environmentalTarget PFAS BioPharma/Pharma Materials Food Forensics along with emerging market opportunities

  • Major sectors include: Academic and research institutions Commercialfor profit State and Local and municipalities Targeted federal accounts

  • Core product lines include: LC &GC LCMS GCMS to include : QToF ToF QqQ and SQ Molecular Spectroscopy Raman Spectroscopy and Informatics

  • Nurturing improving the One Agilent culture and leading with an emphasis on Growth Mindset and creating raving Agilent customer fans.

  • Foster creative approaches to solving customer issues with the service support team

  • Retaining current customers and ensuring their desire to stay and grow with Agilent lose no customer mindset

  • Coach account managers and develop plans to support both professional growth as well and sharpening sales acumen to include prospecting funnel management business insight and closing.

  • Improve SAP CRM discipline

  • Use of analytical tools vital and should include Spotfire Qliks Excel SAP CRM

Remote location: (MidAtlantic: Northern VA Raleigh NC Rockville MD or Atlanta GA)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience formally or informally leading people projects and/or programs for entry to this level. demonstrated planning communication and organizations skills required.

  • Travel up to 50% of time.

  • Experience executing team solution selling.

  • Analytical business analysis acumen should be demonstrated by evaluation of sales data to identify growth opportunities and gaps.

  • Direct sales experience very desirable

  • Business acumen to include understanding company financial profiles identifying risks use of forecasting methodology for predicting future outcome.

  • The proficient use of O365 tools to include OneDrive SharePoint OneNote CoPilot MS Teams and more are all vital

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least May 19 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The fulltime equivalent pay range for this position is $205800.00 $367010.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
