Our Interactive Trading team operates across London Amsterdam and Chicago supporting and developing cuttingedge frontoffice trading systems used by our options marketmaking team. We take ownership of proprietary systems from robust backend services to intuitive webbased frontends ensuring seamless and efficient trading operations.
The Role
Were looking for a talented Front Office C# Developer to design and implement exceptional solutions within a collaborative and dynamic environment. Youll work directly with traders and business stakeholders tackling complex challenges in fastpaced highstakes scenarios. If you thrive on problemsolving delivering highquality code and making an immediate impact on trading performance this role is perfect for you.
What Youll Do
- Collaborate with frontoffice business users to gather and understand requirements.
- Design develop and enhance missioncritical systems with a focus on performance maintainability testability and resilience.
- Write clean highquality code and comprehensive tests leveraging automation to streamline processes.
- Analyse document and communicate design decisions effectively.
- Partner with stakeholders Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and infrastructure teams to ensure robust system delivery and operation.
What Were Looking For
- Strong analytical and system design skills with the ability to tackle complex problems.
- Expertlevel C# skills with a solid understanding of testing processes (currently using .NET 8 transitioning to .NET 9).
- Experience with .NET CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with JavaScript TypeScript or other frontend technologies demonstrating the ability to contribute to or collaborate on UI development.
- Experience programming in Python
- Experience using MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with eventdriven architectures DomainDriven Design (DDD) Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) or Event Sourcing principles.
