Salary/Pay Rate:

$1213 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist University. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online graduate music or lab courses.

Job Summary:

The Department of Computing Technology in the School of Computer Science at Marist University invites applications for parttime faculty positions for theAcademic year.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates should have a masters degree or higher in Computer Science Information Systems or a closely related field. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience. Evidence of teaching experience is important and strong written and oral communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: software development and objectoriented programming data communications and networking systems analysis and design information technology and management information systems architecture and policy. Industry or consulting experience and/or experience teaching online is a plus. As our programs host a diverse population the proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment is highly regarded. Additionally wed programming cybersecurity machine learning and data science skills are preferred.

The Department of Computing Technology formed of faculty in both Computer Science and Information Technology & Systems provides a challenging curriculum and has access to the full spectrum of stateoftheart equipment. Our existing research is driven by our Cyber Security Operations Center the Enterprise Computing Research Lab the MaristIBM Joint Study our Institute for Data Center Professionals and the New York State Cloud Computing and Analytics Center.
