Join us as a Contracts Manager in the Chemical Analysis Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on a global scale supporting our mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

Responsibilities

  • Review negotiate and draft various revenuegenerating commercial international and governmentrelated contracts for assigned CAD business unit(s) in accordance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures .

  • Support the development and submission of customerfacing domestic and international tenders RFP RFQ and RFI responses.

  • Assess contractual risk and provide contract guidance to internal crossfunctional groups on legal financial regulatory and other business concerns.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to review and assemble final contract packages for customers suppliers and projects including coordinating diligence and business approvals for any nonstandard terms.

  • Help with miscellaneous contractrelated tasks needed to support generating revenue activities like drafting letters responding to to government and commercial customer questionnaires supporting audits reports etc.

  • Support thirdparty channel management for assigned CAD business unit(s) reviewing and approving thirdparty diligence and contract management.

  • Participate in any contractrelated commercial team special projects (e.g. creating new contract templates training other internal functional groups supporting regional legal and commercial teams etc.)

  • Drive process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiencies and standardization such as establishing templates standardizing playbooks process updates etc.

  • Maintain accurate records within the contracts teams central repository and contract support center.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree or equivalent experience along with relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial and international contracts experience including contract negotiations and pre and post RFP activities preferably in an international manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting complex longterm highvalue contracts with a detailed understanding of commercial domestic and international legal terms and conditions and their contracting processes.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive relationships internally and externally at all levels of leadership external customers and government as applicable.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage constantly evolving priorities.

  • Highly attentive individual who demonstrates a customercentric approach good judgment strong work ethic professional integrity and attention to detail.

  • Interest and experience in the renewable energy industry preferred.

  • Advanced MS Office or Office 365 skills. Salesforce experience is a plus.
