Job Description
THE POSITION

Engineering District 80 is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a member of a survey team to fill a vacant position at the Right of Way service desk. This position is an office based position primarily researching and updating Right of Way records internally and for customers. Apply today!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides prompt courteous customer services for right of way pavement history and other various highway plan related information requests. The employee in this position works as a member of a survey corps performing highly technical work producing or collecting electronic and conventional field survey data for preliminary construction final land photogrammetric mapping and right of way establishment surveys for engineering purposes.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime up to 2 days a week with supervisory approval. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as an Engineering Technician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of experience as a member of a survey corps which included duties operating both standard and electronic surveying instruments; or
- One year of experience as a member of a survey corps which included duties operating both standard and electronic surveying instruments and an associates degree in surveying drafting design civil or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.
Condition of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA Class C noncommercial drivers license.
