Job Description

Job Summary

As a Financial Analyst with Cards & Loyalty Performance Management you will work directly with the Credit Cards and Loyalty Finance teams on monthend and quarterend reporting activities streamlining reporting processes and working on adhoc basis special projects. You will also work with our partners to learn about Financial Institutions Finance and how to provide value added financial advisory support. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an analytical mindset and a willingness to learn about the RBCs Retail Banking business.

Job Description

What will you do

  • Work independently on projects and work streams to identify and streamline processes in the forecasting planning and monthly reporting processes

  • Understand dissect and analyze credit card products profitability

  • Improve product reports by incorporating business understanding and financial insights

  • Participate in the review of new finance projects and initiatives. Engage in the review of process mapping narratives for enhanced documentation

What do you need to succeed

Musthave

  • Pursuit of a degree in Finance or Accounting with strong financial analysis/accounting background

  • Solid analytical and problemsolving skills

  • Selfmotivated and independent worker with a solutions driven mindset

  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel and database software

  • Interest in the financial services industry

Nicetohave

  • Knowledge or experience in Finance and Accounting and/or Retail Banking industry and banking products
