About Our Client

We are currently hiring for a newly created Administrative Assistant position with a wellestablished insurance office in Strathmore AB. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both behindthescenes work and reception based tasks thrives on structure and routine and is looking for a stable longterm opportunity in a small team environment.

Please note: This role requires 100% inoffice attendance (no remote or hybrid schedule). Hours of work are Monday Friday 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Position is ideal for candidates living in the Strathmore Chestermere Calgary and surrounding area.

The Opportunity

As the Administrative Assistant youll be the goto person who keeps daytoday operations on track whether managing the front desk independently or supporting the team behind the scenes. You bring a friendly helpful presence strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail and accuracy that ensures nothing slips through the cracks.

Youre proactive detaildriven and ready to roll up your sleeves to make sure every interaction and process is handled with care and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filing paper documents and maintaining organized records.
  • Performing data entry with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inputting and updating information in Powerbroker software.
  • Managing mail and courier distribution.
  • Providing friendly front desk and reception support.
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Supporting general administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a strong asset.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Powerbroker software is a bonus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Friendly dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A steady longterm mindset and a genuine interest in supporting a small office.
