Job Description
Hilbish Ford is seeking a reliable and customerfocused Automotive Dealership Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the checkout area. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills attention to detail and a friendly demeanor to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Automotive Dealership Cashier Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with inquiries provide information and address concerns
- Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register or pointofsale (POS) system
- Accept cash credit cards and other forms of payment
- Provide correct change and maintain an organized cash drawer
- Direct customers to specific store sections or products as needed
- Collaborate with other cashiers and store staff to ensure a smooth shopping experience
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transaction processing
- Follow established cash handling and checkout procedures
- Other duties assigned
Automotive Dealership Cashier Requirements:
- Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills to accurately handle transactions and provide correct change
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transaction processing
- Ability to work collaboratively with other cashiers and store staff
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling transactions and customer interactions
- Must pass preemployment background screenings
