ARSIEM is looking for an Instructor/Content Developer (Mid)to manage training and development programs. This position will support one of our Government clients in Columbia MD.
Responsibilities
Prepares and/or conducts training programs of a nontechnical nature teaches classes holds seminars and leads discussion groups.
Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
Develops tests and visual aids conducts training classes and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Formulates teaching outline in conformance with selected instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such training methods as individual coaching group instruction lectures demonstrations conferences meetings and workshops.
Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory motivation theory and new materials methods and techniques.
Develops inhouse programs and practices to identify developmental needs including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
Responsible for the development of elearning programs. Confers with management employees and clients to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies procedures regulations business initiatives and technologies.
Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training group instruction lectures demonstrations conferences meetings and workshops.
Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks demonstration models multimedia visual aids computer tutorials and reference works.
Facilitates the execution of all training programs.
Monitors training costs to ensure the budget is not exceeded and prepares budget reports to justify expenditures.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 58 years of working experience in the competency areas of the courses to be instructed (unless otherwise exempted by the Government).
Experience working under general supervision to provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.
Bachelors (or equivalent) with 2 4 years of experience or a Masters with 02 years of experience.
Demonstrated experience delivering training of a similar type to the courses they are assigned.
Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards principles and theories.
$85000 $110000 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other laws.
