Summary of Position
Jabil Austin IT Support team needs an intern to assist with general IT support operations and projects.
Intern Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring the IT ticket queue and resolve tickets in a timely manner
- Follow all corporate regional and local governance and security policies.
- Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department and encourage input from team members.
- Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks elimination of nonvalue added processes or complete reengineering of processes and systems instituting automation)
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; properly prioritizing issues dynamically.
- Execute all assigned duties
Qualifications
- Major(s): Computer Science Information systems or any other related majors welcome
- Class Year(s): Rising Sophomore Rising Junior 1st Year Graduate Student
- GPA: Min 3.0
- Availability: Must be available to work in Austin TX from May 19 2025 Aug 8 2025
- Technical Skills: Exposure to reporting software and software automation techniques
- Programming experience in Python Mendix PHP or SQL
- Effective communication skills
- Selfstarter Ability to drive work
- Skills: Agility Building Trusting Relationships DecisionMaking Skills & Resilience
