Job Description
Position:HVAC Licensed Maintainer
Location: District Wide
Qualifications: Licensed/Certified HVAC Mechanic (S1 or S2 Heating Piping & Cooling Unlimited Contractor).High School degree or equivalent valid CT Drivers License ability to effectively manage time and coordinate work functions with others ability to work independently without constant supervision and ability to perform duties that require physical exertion.
Responsibilities:Ensuring proper function of all HVAC systems in the District. Complying with all safety norms and regulations working in the HVAC trade. Pricing and placing orders for necessary replacement and spare parts. Coordinating work functions with coworkers and school administration to prevent disruption of school activities. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Terms of Employment: Position to begin ASAP. 1st shift MonFriday. Hourly rates and benefits in accordance with the Agreement Between the Avon Board of Education and National Association of Municipal Employees Local R1270
