Job Description
Auburn School Department is seeking a candidate who is excited about joining our very supportive school Mission Statement: A Safe Place For Students and AdultsSeeking a candidate whois willing to work well as part of a closeknit team;demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to meet student needs including developing outofthebox alternatives to foster student success;has the capacity to problem solve quickly and come up with creative solutions;is dedicated to helping atrisk students meet personal and academic goals;has a commitment to a safe school culture one that is free of bullying prioritizes respect fosters acceptance and promotes academic success;has the desire to work with atrisk student populations;has experience and/or interest in developing new curriculum; andhas the capacity to teach in content areas outside of their certification with candidates may also have :experience teaching in an alternative settingexperience in working as part of a grade level or disciplinary teams; andexperience in literacyJob Requirements:1. Maine Department of Education Certification in math education.2. Prior teaching experience preferred.
