As a web editor based at the RadioCanada station in Saguenay you will work with teams from SaguenayLacSaintJean AbitibiTmiscamingue and CteNord. In your role you will collaborate with production programming communications as well as promotion and marketing teams.
Your main responsibilities will be to showcase content on digital platforms:
Adapt our content to various digital platforms and format reports in different digital formats (longform pieces magazinestyle content photo essays special projects Empreintes etc.).
Support teams in the creation of these longform formats (act as a liaison with the digital production team).
Produce maps tables and data visualizations using various tools.
Develop visual elements for special projects.
Update pages for shows journalists and other content contributors.
Suggest creative ways to highlight content and have a strong sense for compelling presentation.
Create content on location and in collaboration with the production teams involved.
Understand the codes and conventions of different platforms by staying on top of trends.
Interact with and foster engagement within the community.
Maintain a strategic vision aligned with objectives established in collaboration with the relevant teams.
Manage a publishing calendar.
Analyze results make recommendations and adjust strategy accordingly.
Your profile:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Three (3) years of experience
Skills:
Strong writing skills and excellent command of written French
Very good knowledge of digital platforms and social media
Sharp communication skills
Attention to detail and precision
Autonomy and initiative
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
Ability to adapt and prioritize
Capacity to work under pressure
Ability to quickly learn various tools (CMS and internal video editing tools)
Ability to understand user behavior and propose visibility strategies
Ability to perform tech watch and provide recommendations
Good knowledge of RadioCanadas goals and direction

General knowledge French and writing tests
