About the role:
Consulting Engineer
As a Consulting Engineer you will help customers plan design and implement Cisco products services and solutions. You will drive technology design implementation execution and optimization for customer projects and accounts. Your role will involve working with customers to plan design configure and diagnose Ciscos suite of products services and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes. You will assist customers with the integration and implementation of tools systems and service assurance support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution designs
Key responsibilities:
- Drive technology design implementation execution and optimization for customer projects/accounts.
- Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools systems and service assurance.
- Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve and validate complex problems and compatibility issues.
- Align technical deliverables to customer business outcomes.
- Comply with and support company policies and processes
Role Specific Responsibilities:
- Work extensively with customers and internal/external resources on strategy deployment and optimization of Cisco services and solutions.
- Take a leadership role in the execution of delivery projects.
- Create review and approve project deliverables such as Design recommendations HighLevel Design LowLevel Design Implementation/Change Management Plans.
- Leverage software skills and tools to configure deploy and troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions
Expertise:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent plus 58 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
- Senior network engineer with IPFM and preferably broadcast experience
Competencies:
- Strong background in Enterprise Network architecture design and deployment.
- Experience with Cisco Routing & Switching solutions including ISIS OSPF BGP.
- Understanding of Cisco SDA DNACenter SDWAN and Campus networks including Meraki.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Perl is desirable
Certifications:
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE Certifications or equivalent experience

This contract is available for an initial 2year term with possible extensions. Located in Sydney this role offers a hybrid working arrangement
