Job Description
The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for establishing and leading a districtwide cybersecurity program to protect the digital assests systems and data of a diverse educational environment. This role is critical in securing a mixed technology ecosystem of Apple and Windows devices and cloudbased services. The cybersecurity manager will design and enforce cybersecurity policies respond to threats and promote a culture of security awareness ensuring the safety privacy and compliance of all users and systems across the district.
Responsibilities include working under the limited supervision while applying established cybersecurity practices policies and methodologies tailored to a K12 educational environment. The cybersecurity manager will lead and coordinate efforts within a small team and collabrate with other departments such as Business HR Instruction as well as district and building leadership.
This position reports to the Director of Technology.
