Job Description
Job Title: Azure Data Analyst
Location: Windsor UK (1 day a week)
Job Purpose and Primary Objectives:Azure Data Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret large complex data sets and produce meaningful insights
- Gathering data from various sources within the Azure ecosystem ensuring data quality and transforming it for analysis
- Designing and building data models to support analysis and reporting needs
- Ensuring data accuracy consistency and reliability throughout its lifecycle
- Working with crossfunctional teams to understand business needs and provide datadriven insights
- Identifying and addressing issues related to data quality accessibility and analysis
Key Skills / Knowledge:
- Strong ability to analyze data identify patterns and draw conclusions
- Understanding on Energy Utility domain Smart Meter process knowledge
- Proficiency in statistical methods and techniques for data analysis
- Experience in designing and building data models
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data in Azure databases
- Understanding of Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage
- Strong ability to identify and resolve datarelated issues
Experience Required:
- 15 years of total IT experience and must have experience in Energy Utilities domain in Smart Metering projects
- 10 years Data Analyst experience in MS Azure platform
