Legal Assistant Personal Injury PreLitigation (OnSite)

The Opportunity
As our Legal Assistant in our Personal Injury PreLitigation department you will have the opportunity to assist our Paralegals and Attorneys in progressing our wrongful death TBI catastrophic injury and major orthopedic cases through prelitigation.
Accountable for
- Prepare documents for filing.
- Draft complaints and minor s compromises.
- Understand and monitor court deadlines and statute of limitations.
- Communicate with clients in an effective and courteous manner.
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- 1 year(s) of experience drafting complaints.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a highvolume and fastpaced environment.
- Detail oriented.
- Experience working in Personal Injury law a huge plus.
- Type at least 40 WPM.
Compensation
- $24.00$33.00 per hour depending on experience plus performancebased incentives
