This includes inspecting testing repairing and servicing eyewash stations to meet safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing:
Regularly inspect and test eyewash stations for functionality ensuring water flow pressure and temperature are within acceptable parameters. - Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine maintenance including cleaning checking for leaks and making necessary repairs. - Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of inspections tests and repairs documenting any issues and corrective actions. - Training and Education:
Provide training to employees on the location proper activation and use of eyewash stations. - OSHA Compliance:
Ensure all eyewash stations meet OSHA requirements and standards. - Emergency Response:
Assist with emergency response drills and chemical spill containment ensuring eyewash stations are readily available. - Other Safety Equipment:
May also be involved in the maintenance and inspection of other safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and safety showers. - Installation:
