General Operative 13.05/hr
City & Neighbourhood Services Belfast
Casual Grade 2
What You ll Do
Join a handson team helping keep Belfast clean green and safe! Youll work across parks streets waste collection sites and open spaces doing important tasks that keep the city running.
Key Duties
-
Collect refuse recyclables & bulky waste
-
Load/unload waste safely for disposal
-
Clean streets remove graffiti wash bins
-
Gardening: planting grass cutting hedge trimming
-
Gritting leaf blowing snow clearing
-
Maintain public areas to a high standard
-
Report issues & complete basic paperwork
-
Follow all Health & Safety rules & use PPE
What You Need
-
1 year s experience dealing with the public
-
Awareness of Health & Safety (incl. PPE manual handling)
-
Good communication & teamwork skills
-
Able to follow instructions and prioritise work effectively
Bonus if you have:
-
2 years relevant experience
-
Knowledge of machinery/tools (e.g. mowers sprayers sweepers)
Northern Ireland s first recruitment agency accredited by the Living Wage Foundation.
