Billing Specialist
Job Type: FullTime
Salary Range: $60000 $70000 (commensurate with experience)

About Our Client:
Our client is a respected law firm in downtown Vancouver.
The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a Billing Specialist with a minimum of 3 years experience in a legal setting to join their accounting team. This is a permanent fulltime role working Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the firm s billing process and supporting internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute client invoices
- Assist with time entry and prebill review
- Apply trust funds and manage account balances
- Identify taxrelated issues
- Maintain and manage the complete billing cycle
- Communicate with clients regarding billing matters
- Support Accounts Receivable functions as needed
- Participate in ad hoc projects within the accounting department
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of billing experience in a legal or professional services setting
- Postsecondary education in accounting finance or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Experience with accounting and billing software (experience with Acumin is an asset)
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
- Excellent client service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities
