Job Description

We are looking for a Petfood Business Development Manager to help us grow our presence in the pet nutrition market. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain commercial ownership of a highpotential segment while learning from seasoned commercial leadership.

Youll focus on building customer and distributor relationships managing early sales pipelines and supporting the execution of our petfood gotomarket strategy.

Tasks

Market Engagement & Sales Execution

  • Identify and engage prospective customers in the petfood industry.
  • Support in converting leads into commercial partnerships from first contact through deal closure.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored product presentations and samples with technical support from internal teams.

Customer Success & Relationship Management

  • Build lasting relationships by understanding customer needs and acting as their internal advocate.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and postsale satisfaction in coordination with operations and technical teams.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Research trends competitor offerings and customer feedback to help shape MicroHarvests petfood positioning.
  • Provide insights to support pricing product development and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 24 years of experience in petfood sales ideally bringing an existing network in the industry.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Management or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customerfirst mindset.
  • Comfortable navigating technical products and translating them into business value.
  • Proactive selfstarting and able to thrive in a fastpaced startup environment.
  • Fluent in English;
  • Willingness to travel (2030%) including outside of Europe.
