Job Description
Our client a Public Accounting Firm is seeking a Staff Accountant for their office. Our client is a successful and growing firm established 50 years ago with two locations in Lake County Illinois. They offer a competitive salary and benefit package!
Job Duties:
Individual income tax preparation and planning
Corporate income tax preparation and planning
Preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements
Payroll tax return preparation
Sales tax return preparation
Bookkeeping services
Audits
Requirements
5 years in public accounting
Bachelor s degree or higher in accounting
CPA designation or working towards it
Experience with Lacerte Ultra Tax Accounting CS and QuickBooks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work efficiently and independently
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
