As a Solar Sales Engineer you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for educating potential clients on the benefits of solar energy assessing their energy needs and designing customized solar solutions to meet those needs. Your primary goal is to increase solar adoption contribute to sustainable energy initiatives and drive business growth in US market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition:
- Identify and engage with potential customers through various means including cold calling referrals and networking.
- Develop and maintain a database of leads and effectively prioritize them for sales outreach.
- Sales Process:
- Educate customers on the advantages of solar energy including cost savings environmental benefits and available incentives or rebates.
- Explain the solar installation process system components and financing options to potential customers.
- Prepare detailed sales proposals and presentations highlighting the financial benefits and technical specifications of proposed solar systems.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with customers.
- Technical Expertise:
- Understand the technical aspects of solar energy systems including solar panel technology inverters and battery storage solutions.
- Utilize software tools to design and size solar systems based on customer energy consumption patterns and site conditions.
- Proficiency in Helioscope Sketchup Solargraf and Aurora software for design is a plus.
- Stay updated on the latest solar industry trends regulations and incentives.
- PostSales Support:
- Coordinate with overseas sales teams to ensure smooth project progression and customer satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support to customers addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Handle warranty claims and service requests occasionally.

- Bachelors degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
