Job Description

Website Designer needed in an IGCSE School based in South Delhi.

Immediate Joining.

Job Summary: Seeking a talented and creative Website Designer to be responsible for the design development maintenance and continuous improvement of the schools website(s). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles be proficient in current web technologies and possess a keen eye for aesthetics and branding. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively with various school departments to ensure the website effectively communicates the schools mission values programs and achievements to prospective families current students parents faculty and the wider community.

Design and Development

Maintenance and Updates

Collaboration and Communication

Optimization and Analytics

Staying Current

Adherence to Brand Guidelines

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Web Design Graphic Design Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in designing developing and maintaining websites preferably for educational institutions or similar organizations.

Strong proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and related frontend technologies.

Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress Drupal or similar.

Understanding of responsive design principles and mobilefirst development.

Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles and best practices.

Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines (WCAG).

Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop Illustrator or similar.

Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).

Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.

Local candidates needed. Candidates willing to relocate can also apply.
