Job Description
We are currently hiring a skilledStructural Welderto join our Tulsabased team. This role involves interpreting blueprints setting up and operating welding equipment and ensuring welds meet rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specific welding requirements
Set up and operate welding machines adjusting settings such as amperage voltage slope and pulse as needed
Inspect welding equipment and accessories for proper functionality and safety
Determine appropriate welding techniques positioning and jigs based on specifications and material thickness
Guide electrodes or welding guns accurately along weld lines using visual and auditory cues to maintain correct depth and quality
Select efficient welding processes to support movement of raw or finished materials
Examine welds for bead size cracks and defects; perform or recommend corrective actions
Clean and grind welds remove slag and splatter for a smooth finish
Prepare parts by grinding degreasing or cleaning to meet quality standards
Safely operate manlifts and cranes for material handling and positioning
Assist with additional tasks as directed to support team operations and production goals
