Security Officer - Week-end/Part-time

The Opportunity: 

Were seeking a motivated passionate collaborative and detailoriented Security Officer with experience in the security field to help protect Mattels employees guest (s) product (s) and brands. The ideal candidate is a team player excellent communication skills and can organize & prioritize tasks.

This position is located at Mega Brands headquarters in Ville St. Laurent. This is a parttime position on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. including public holidays. The security officer may be required to work the first second and third shifts based on business needs.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

Physical Security

• Enforce Mattel Global Security Departments Best Practices.
• Completes security duties and related tasks as set forth in the Contingency Operations and SOP manuals.
•  Perform administrative data.
• Coordinates traffic control.
• Completes mobile and foot patrols to monitor the campus for security and facilitiesrelated concerns. Monitors the access control system CCTV system and the Guardtrax management system.
• Provide a high level of customer service to all Mattel employees vendors and visitors on property.

Safety

Additional responsibilities may be requested based on business needs at your location. Overtime may be required on short notice.

Qualifications :

• Working knowledge of PCs and software including MS Windows Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Qualifications:

• One years of Security Asset Protection Loss Prevention Law Enforcement or military background preferred.
• High school diploma (DES) or GED required.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License
• Must be certified in First Aid CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens OR be willing to obtain certification through training provided by Mattel (annual training provided).
• Must be able to work varying shifts including nights holidays and weekends.
• Ability to read analyze and interpret general business policies professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to stand and walk go up/downstairs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use postsecurity equipment (handheld and walkthru metal detectors handheld radios access control systems CCTV).
• Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning embracing challenges and improving themselves.
