About the Role
Wavenet is a technologydriven company committed to innovation and excellence. Were excited to offer two fantastic apprenticeship opportunities for individuals looking to build a rewarding career in IT while making a real difference in the NHS.
As a Deskside Apprentice youll be embedded onsite with our NHS client (CNWL) gaining handson experience supporting a wide range of IT systems and users. Over the course of the 2year program youll rotate between two key areas: Deskside Field Support and End User Device Management (EUDM) giving you broad exposure and realworld experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Rotate every 6 months between Deskside Support and EUDM Proactive Management
- Manage and resolve IT service tickets ensuring timely completion within SLA
- Troubleshoot and provide support for hardware software and network issues
- Support cybersecurity awareness campaigns including phishing simulations
- Maintain accurate IT asset and configuration records
- Collaborate with onsite and remote technical teams
- Contribute to policy development and IT improvement initiatives
- Engage with NHS users to deliver exceptional frontline IT support
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- A genuine interest in IT and technology
- Basic understanding of computers software and networks
- Strong problemsolving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities
- Eagerness to learn and improve continuously
Entry Requirements
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (AC) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade 3 (D or above)
- Equivalent international qualifications must be formally recognized in the UK
