AI Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AI engineer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a selfstarting AI engineer in designing and developing solutions for large scale organisations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

As an AI Engineer you will have experience in Python Databricks and Large Language Models (LLMs) to support and enhance our clients AIdriven initiatives. The role involves developing and maintaining AI projects deployed entirely as notebooks within Databricks optimizing largescale datasets using PySpark and ensuring the scalability and sustainability of the codebase.

You will work closely with data scientists software engineers and domain experts to understand the business needs and translate them into AI applications. Beyond technical expertise you will follow software engineering best practices including codebase security testing and scalability helping bridge the gap between data science and productionready AI systems.

Qualifications :

• Experience of working in a Scrum Team and an Agile environment
• Solid software engineering background covering SOLID principles with Python experience.
• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests 
• Knowledge of machine learning deep learning natural language processing computer vision and other AI techniques and algorithms
• Experience in developing and deploying AI solutions using Python TensorFlow PyTorch Keras Snowflake or similar frameworks and tools
• Beyond technical expertise you will follow software engineering best practices including codebase security testing and scalability helping bridge the gap between data science and productionready AI systems
• Some experience in utilising Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Amazon Bedrock OpenAIs GPT or Hugging Face models to develop AIdriven applications including text generation summarization code completion and conversational AI.
• Some experience of using Cloud based AI services such as AWS Comprehend (Natural Language Processing) Amazon Rekognition (Computer Vision) and Amazon Textract (Document Intelligence) for building AIdriven solutions.
