Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral Surgeon to join our esteemed dental practice in Lymm. As a vital member of our team you will provide exceptional oral surgical care to our patients contributing to our practices reputation for excellence in dental health services.
- Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures including dental implants wisdom teeth extractions and corrective jaw surgeries
- Diagnose and treat complex oral and maxillofacial conditions
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care instructions to patients
- Manage patient consultations explaining procedures and addressing concerns with empathy and clarity
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Stay current with the latest advancements in oral surgery techniques and technologies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practice
- Accept and manage referrals from other dental clinics in the area
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Qualifications :
- Degree in Dental Surgery from a recognised institution
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Specialist training in Oral Surgery and GDC specialist list
- Proven experience as an Oral Surgeon with a track record of successful surgical procedures
- Expertise in various dental procedures including implants orthodontics endodontics and periodontics
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to patientcentred care and customer service
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software
- Dedication to continuing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements
- Ability to manage a busy surgical schedule and work efficiently
- Empathetic approach to patient care especially when dealing with anxious patients
