Job Description

We are searching for a Data Entry Assistant (PartTime) to join our Technomic Data Management team. This is a workfromhome position with the ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings nights and weekends.

Under the supervision of the Team Lead you are responsible for quarterly menu data updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately collect organize and input data into our systems.

  • Use the internet as a research tool

  • Collaborate with the Team Lead to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel for data management tasks.

  • Read edit and work with PDF documents to extract necessary information.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

  • Assist in generating reports and summaries based on collected data.


Qualifications :

  • Provide your own desktop computer or laptop and internet connectivity in a private secure environment (Tablets are not acceptable)

  • Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours a week. Up to 29 hours available.

  • Previous experience in data entry or adjacent role

  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Professional ambitious adaptable and hardworking: attention to detail a must

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Deadlineoriented

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Word Publisher & Excel

  • A keen interest in research and information gathering

Nice to Haves: 

  • Basic understanding of food beverage & restaurant industry

  • General understanding of menu structure

  • Food service experience a plus
