Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Pricing Client Success Manager works directly with CPG manufacturer teams advising on effective Revenue Management strategies and tactics to drive improved business performance. This position is responsible for providing pricing and promotional analytic leadership and building strong relationships across NielsenIQ client base.

This includes leveraging business experience along with demonstrating expertlevel knowledge of NielsenIQ Revenue Optimiser software to make strategic recommendations that drive ROI.

We are bringing together rich data sets artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques into userfriendly software. The growing NielsenIQ Revenue Management Practice helps its clients to make smarter and more confident pricing and promotions decisions through the utilisation of worldclass pricing and promotional analytical software.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct pricing analyses and promotional evaluations to develop insights that drive Annual Strategic Planning Quarterly Account Planning and Joint Business Planning with clients
  • Lead worksessions with clients to cocreate strategies that optimize promotional calendars and maximize trade spend (scenario planning) 
  • Subject matter expert in Revenue Optimiser software providing training and issuebased coaching as required to instill Curve as a core competency at all clients 
  • Client ownership of assigned accounts strengthening relationships through a deep understanding of clients issues and providing valueadd expertise in pricing & Strategic Revenue Management 
  • Analysis of client engagement to drive deep integration & satisfaction 
  • Collection of client feedback on product improvement and development 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strategic thinker with a minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing management/negotiation preferably in CPG Sales Category Management Revenue Management Sales Strategy or Customer Finance 
  • Demonstrated indepth knowledge of CPG retail landscape including pricing practices/priorities 
  • Strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills; able to translate findings into clear actionable insights and recommendations 
  • Solutionfocused attitude & change management mindset; demonstrated a willingness to challenge the status quo 
  • Teamoriented with a strong sense of ownership accountability and commitment 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to quickly build rapport and develop business relationships 
  • Effective leader and communicator (verbal written) 
  • Able to work independently solve problems and learn new concepts 
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic 
  • Expertlevel technical skills primarily MS Excel PowerPoint and Word 
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Business or related field; or equivalent combination of work and experience 
  • Fluent in English
