Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our product development team. Youll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of a modern cloudnative application built with Angular on the front end and .NET/C# microservices on the back end. This role requires a strong understanding of both automated and manual testing as well as a collaborative mindset to work closely with developers and product owners.
Youll be testing across a complex architecture involving Azure AKS asynchronous services and ephemeral pods helping us ensure that new features are stable secure and performant before release.
What Youll Do
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts (manual and automated).
- Perform functional regression integration and endtoend testing on Angular frontend and .NETbased microservices.
- Create and maintain automated UI and API tests using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers to write testable code and catch issues early in the development cycle.
- Validate functionality across multiple services including asynchronous processes and containerized services running in AKS.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (standups sprint planning retrospectives) and contribute to test estimations.
- Monitor logs and metrics to help identify root causes of test failures or production issues.
- Help define and improve QA processes and best practices across the team.
Qualifications :
- 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
- Experience testing web applications ideally using Angular and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with backend testing in .NET/C# microservices environments.
- Experience writing automated tests using tools like Playwright Cypress Selenium or similar.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman REST Assured or Swaggerbased testing.
- Basic understanding of containers (Docker) and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud environments preferably Azure and testing in distributed systems.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and testing in automated pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Azure Monitor App Insights or Log Analytics.
- Experience working in agile development teams and testing asynchronous or eventdriven services.
