Job Description
Entains Canada Iberia & Latin America Region (CILA) team is looking to hire an Associate Director for Strategy to help support the team setting the strategy and providing financial steer for the region. This highly exciting role works directly with multiple groups across Entain both regionally and centrally including Digital Product and Technology Operations Marketing Sales international and corporate leadership to support the defining and execution of the strategy for the region as well as assessing its financial performance.
We are looking for talented Strategy professionals with the highest standards of integrity who have previously worked in Strategy Consulting and are looking for an opportunity to work in a fastpaced commercial environment. The regional Strategy team works with Entains executive leadership in shaping strategies to drive growth and innovation across the company and reports to the regional Managing Director.
This is an exciting role within a newly formed and rapidly expanding team with a broad range of responsibilities including:
- Strategic planning & execution: Develop and implement longterm strategic plans to drive revenue growth market expansion and competitive positioning across CILA markets
- Market & competitive analysis: Monitor industry trends competitor activities and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks
- Business performance optimization: Work closely with crossfunctional teams (product marketing finance etc) to identify and implement optimization
- Datadriven insights: Analyze data to derive business insights in order to guide strategic decisionmaking
- Thought leadership: Contribute industry knowledge thought leadership and a growth perspective to the organization
- Strategic projects: Support highvisibility growth strategy projects by conducting strategic analysis financial modeling and synthesizing conclusions to be presented to internal executive leaders
- Stakeholder management: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership providing insights and recommendations to support key business decisions
- Connect with broader org: Facilitate the flow of ideas and information within the broader company
Qualifications :
- Strong undergraduate degree
- 6 years experience in strategy consulting / inhouse strategy roles
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and deal with ambiguity
- Knowledge and ability to apply business frameworks (e.g. value chain competitive forces core competency analysis)
- Proficiency in Excel & data analysis
- Proficiency in business writing and verbal communications including delivery of presentations to executive business leaders
- Strong interest in the betting games media technology and entertainment industries
