Job Description

Primary Purpose
Instructor for Pacific Community Music School.

Essential Functions
Provide instruction in the form of private and group lessons. Teach theory/musicianship courses and maintain an active studio throughout the year. University of the Pacific recognizes that diversity equity and inclusion is foundational to the success of our valued students and employees. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma One (1) year of teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Music Performance Three (3) years of documented teaching experience. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
