Now as the Company prepares for their next stage of operational maturity we are searching for a Chief Financial Officer to join their leadership team and bring sharp financial strategy operational discipline and organizational clarity to support sustainable growth.
This is not a CFO role that lives in spreadsheets alone.
Youll be the financial architect of the Companys futureshaping systems strategy and culture around sustainable profitability and intelligent growth. This is a handson role for a strategic financial leader who thrives in entrepreneurial midsized environments where you can influence outcomes directly and lead crossfunctional transformation with humility and precision.
As CFO youll be a key advisor to the CEO and an executive peer to operations and HRexpected to lead not just finance but financial thinking across the company.
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
Partner with the CEO to drive financial decisionmaking scenario planning and longterm business strategy
Serve as a thought partner to operational leaders on pricing models margin management and cost discipline
Lead quarterly and annual forecasting budgeting and variance analysis processes
2. Financial Operations & Controls
Oversee the accuracy and integrity of accounting financial reporting and internal controls
Manage financial audits banking relationships and insurance/risk compliance
Upgrade financial processes tools and talent as needed to scale with the business
3. Metrics & Performance Management
Establish and communicate a clear set of KPIs for companywide financial performance
Drive the evolution of dashboards and reporting frameworks used by senior management
Coach department heads on budget management and financial accountability
4. Capital & Investment Strategy
Analyze capital investments new service lines equipment purchases and expansion opportunities
Assess return on investment (ROI) and advise on strategic resource allocation
Support the CEO with board/investor materials financial storytelling and external positioning
5. CrossFunctional Leadership
Be a unifying voice across finance operations HR and ITbringing clarity and structure
Mentor a small but capable finance team (accounting AP/AR payroll)
Lead or support crossfunctional projects tied to cost efficiency workforce utilization and digital transformation
Proven Finance Leader: 12 years of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (Controller Director of Finance or equivalent)
Degree: Bachelors in Accounting Finance or a related field required; CPA or MBA preferred
Sector Fit: Experience in servicebased operationsintensive businesses preferred (e.g. field service manufacturing support distribution or technical trades)
Operator Mentality: Comfortable with a balance of strategic planning and handson financial management
Business Partner Orientation: Adept at supporting functional leaders with datadriven insight and coaching
Systems Mindset: Demonstrated ability to modernize financial tools and workflows
Communication Strength: Able to present financial concepts clearly and persuasively to nonfinancial audiences
