Join Our Team as a Cook Salad Prep at La Posada at Pusch Ridge!

Are you a skilled and passionate culinary professional looking to be part of something truly special Do you thrive in a highend upscale kitchen environment where quality creativity and excellence are valued La Posada at Pusch Ridge a brandnew luxury continuous care retirement community in Oro Valley AZ is looking for experienced Cooks Salad Prep to join our dynamic culinary team!

This is a parttime position but flexibility is essential shifts and days will vary based on operational needs.

In this role you will work under the guidance of our Sous Chef preparing fresh flavorful and beautifully presented salads and cold dishes. You will ensure that every meal meets the highest standards of taste quality and presentation contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our residents and guests.

What Youll Do:

  • Prepare fresh salads dressings and other cold food items based on daily menus and production charts.
  • Ensure all ingredients are properly stored prepared and presented according to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Operate clean and maintain kitchen equipment used in food preparation.
  • Keep work and storage areas clean and organized including sweeping mopping and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Assist in setting up for special events and catering functions.
  • Follow standardized recipes and preparation guidelines to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and records in accordance with Dining Service procedures.
  • Attend staff meetings training sessions and inservice events as required.

What Were Looking For:

  • At least one year of experience in a highvolume restaurant setting as a Cook Salad Prep or similar role.
  • ServSafe food safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced kitchen.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide outstanding service.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
