Job Description

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Location: Fullerton CA (On Site)

Position Summary:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees focusing on employee relations performance management and HR compliance. This role will proactively coach and mentor managers support engagement and retention efforts and lead HR special projects that drive organizational effectiveness. The HRBP will play a critical role in fostering a positive highperformance work environment aligned with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters including investigations corrective action and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and compliance with employment laws and ABAspecific standards.

Coaching & Development:

  • Mentor and coach people leaders on performance management team development and employee engagement.
  • Build capabilities to handle daytoday people leadership challenges effectively.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance review process including goal setting feedback and performance improvement plans.
  • Collaborate on strategies to recognize and develop top performers and address underperformance.

Special Projects:

  • Lead or contribute to HR projects such as engagement surveys diversity and inclusion initiatives policy updates and process improvements.
  • Partner crossfunctionally on projects that enhance the employee experience and drive business results.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws including FMLA ADA and wage/hour regulations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide regular reports to leadership with actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field; PHR or SHRMCP preferred.
  • 5 years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and coaching leaders.
  • Experience in healthcare ABA or related service industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication conflict resolution and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fastpaced environment.
