Overview:
Livingston Surgery Center OR RN position.
Will both circulate and scrub in for surgical cases. Previous OR experience preferred.
Day shift MondayFriday. Shifts vary daily between: 6:00am2:30pm 7:00am3:30pm 7:30am4:00pm late shift.
Full time 1.0 FTE Benefits eligible Nonexempt
Starting pay: $34.68/hr based on experience

Job Description:
- Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
- Assesses individualized patient needs. Communicates patient care needs and priorities to Surgical Technologists and Perioperative Technicians.
- Plans implements educates and evaluates care using EvidenceBased Practices.
- Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring the physical psychological and social needs of patients and families.
- Engages in the community of the unit by staying aware of changes participating in data collection or auditing understanding Quality Improvement and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.
- Documents according to organizational standards policies and procedures.
Education Requirement:
BSN preferred. Associate degree required with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
Licensure Requirement:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
Certifications:
Current CPR certification required.

May perform in the role of RN First Assistant as needed following successful completion of an accredited first assistant program.
