Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and resultsdriven Director of Sourcing to lead our procurement operations within the manufacturing sector. This critical leadership role is responsible for designing and executing innovative sourcing strategies that align with organizational objectives and drive longterm value. The ideal candidate will oversee the endtoend procurement lifecycle ensuring costeffective high quality sourcing of goods and services while fostering strong supplier partnerships and mitigating supply chain risks. With a focus on continuous improvement operational excellence and bottom line impact the Director of Sourcing will play a pivotal role in optimizing our global supply chain and advancing our competitive advantage. Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies that support overall business objectives and drive cost savings.
- Lead and manage the endtoend procurement process including supplier selection contract negotiation and performance management.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with operations engineering finance and quality teams to ensure alignment of sourcing initiatives with production and business needs.
- Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality service and delivery performance.
- Monitor market trends pricing and supply conditions to mitigate risks and capitalize on sourcing opportunities.
- Implement and maintain procurement best practices policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost savings supplier performance and procurement cycle times.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sourcing processes reduce lead times and enhance supply chain agility.
- Oversee sourcing analytics and spend analysis to identify areas of improvement and drive strategic decisionmaking.
- Mentor and develop procurement team members fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and high performance
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 810 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement with at least 3 years in a leadership or directorlevel role.
- Proven experience in sourcing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes contract negotiation supplier management and cost analysis.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Proficient in supply chain management systems ERP software and procurement tools (e.g. SAP Oracle Coupa).
- Excellent analytical communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills with a resultsoriented mindset.
- Knowledge of global sourcing practices and familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience leading global sourcing initiatives or managing international supplier relationships.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with risk management strategies related to supplier performance geopolitical factors and market volatility.
- Demonstrated success in digital transformation or automation of sourcing and procurement functions.
- Experience integrating ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) or sustainability practices into sourcing strategies.
- Exceptional leadership presence with a track record of building developing and retaining highperforming teams.
Skills: As the Director of Sourcing you will utilize your expertise in government contracting and procurement to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with our business goals and objectives. You will use your strong negotiation skills to ensure that we acquire goods and services at the best possible price and quality. Your leadership and team management abilities will be essential in managing and mentoring the procurement team. Additionally your crossfunctional collaboration skills will be utilized to optimize our supply chain and improve our bottom line. Overall your skills will be critical in ensuring the success of our procurement process. Work Environment: This is a fulltime position with standard working hours although flexibility may be required during peak financial periods or for special projects. The role may necessitate occasional travel for business meetings conferences or training sessions depending on organizational needs.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland OH is $140000 to $190000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job type and years of experience within the industry education etc.
