PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Curriculum Planning and AssessmentTeaches fulltime to students in grades the learning and growth of all students by providing highquality and coherent instruction; designs and administers authentic and meaningful student student performance and growth data using data to improve instruction providing students with constructive feedback on an ongoing basis and continuously refining learning instruction to students in accordance with the Curriculum Frameworks issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary learning activities that will relate content skills to the physical world and apply to vocational programs where lesson plans; maintains a weekly syllabus and a daily ownership of curriculum development and revision. Teaching All StudentsPromotes the learning and growth of all students through instructional practices that establish high expectations create a safe and effective classroom environment and demonstrate cultural individual and group instruction appropriate to the needs of the student(s) and differentiates instruction when the special needs of individual and maintains standards of student conduct to provide an orderly safe and productive environment for all students in the and monitors student progress through the use of progress reports and report and Community EngagementPromotes the learning and growth of all students through effective partnerships with families caregivers community members and parents to notify them of students declining progress whenever Special Education Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings where the teachers presence is supervision and extra help to students where CulturePromotes the learning and growth of all students through ethical culturally proficient skilled and collaborative meetings as required by out other duties as ENVIRONMENT:This position may require long periods of standing and lifting for long periods of time. The Individual may be exposed to ultraviolet lights found in computer monitors and copying OF EMPLOYMENT:This is a tenmonth schoolyear position (183 days).Initial salary will be established by the SuperintendentDirector in accordance with the Teachers benefits as outlined in the Teachers Contract. A criminal background check including fingerprinting is required. The successful applicant must undergo mandatory ethics training and pass an online ethics test developed by the Massachusetts State Ethics :As per the Teachers Contract.
