What you will be doing:

As an IT Consultant Cloud you will design and implement cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud supporting ROCKWOOLs cloud adoption strategy. Youll ensure services align with business goals guided by Azure and Google Cloud Adoption Frameworks while promoting modern automated and costefficient operations.

Youll mentor Cloud Operations Engineers globally guide 2ndlevel IT support and collaborate across teams to drive operational excellence automation and FinOps initiatives. Your role also includes technical project leadership and acting as a subject matter expert for cloud practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure scalable cloud architectures in Azure and Google Cloud.
  • Lead public cloud adoption and legacy workload migration aligned with Azure and Google Cloud Adoption Frameworks.
  • Promote modern tooling (IaC observability automation) and develop governance frameworks.
  • Drive cloud operations incident management and high availability strategies.
  • Lead and mentor global teams and coordinate technical projects.
  • Educate internal support teams and act as a cloud SME.
  • Manage cloud costs through FinOps practices reporting and optimization.

What you bring:

  • Strong expertise in Azure or Google Cloud architecture and operations.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with Azure and Google Cloud Adoption Frameworks.
  • Handson experience with IaC tools (Terraform Bicep CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices automation and container platforms (Kubernetes Docker).
  • Experience in technical project management and Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization.
  • Strong communication skills to align technical work with business strategy.
  • Fluent English.
