The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects ensuring value for money while maintaining the required standards and quality.
Prepare cost estimates budgets and tender documents.
Evaluate and monitor project costs from inception to completion.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis.
Measure quantities and verify valuations for interim payments and final accounts.
Monitor variations to the contract and prepare change orders.
Liaise with project managers engineers clients and subcontractors.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with legal and quality standards.
Provide regular cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
Support procurement strategy and vendor selection processes.
Degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role preferably within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
Strong understanding of construction methods contracts and financial management.
Excellent analytical negotiation and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
