A wellestablished business based in York (YO10) are recruiting for a Temporary Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team temporarily for 34 months. Offering up to 16 per hour this is a great opportunity to step into a varied role and hit the ground running. This role could also lead to permanent opportunities with this employer offering excellent holiday allowance flexible working hours and hybrid working (3 days from home).
As a Temporary Finance Assistant you will be:
- Processing invoices and expenses
- Reconciling accounts and investigating any discrepancies
- Managing queries and maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
- Using accounting software to input check and retrieve data
To be successful in this Temporary Finance Assistant role you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach
- Experience with finance systems (e.g. Sage Xero QuickBooks)
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
