You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailStryker Instruments is seeking a Senior Staff Wireless Engineer Product Safety to serve as a divisionwide specialist supporting our diverse product portfolio. In this role youll lead efforts related to wireless technologies such as WiFi and Bluetoothenabled devices ensuring products meet global wireless compliance and certification standards. Youll work handson in the lab executing testing protocols based on international regulations (training available) and collaborating across teams to support all wireless safety initiatives within the division.
This role is hybrid in Portage MI with the expectation to be in office 34 days a week.

Stryker Orthopaedic Instruments
Lead wireless test and certification strategy for new product development and global markets.
Develop and document procedures for wireless compliance testing in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards and regulatory requirements.
Define and execute wireless testing plans to ensure bestinclass performance and regulatory compliance.
Develop and evolve wireless technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Interpret global wireless standards to support product globalization and portfolio growth.
Collaborate crossfunctionally to integrate wireless compliance into product design and development.
Manage thirdparty certification labs and ensure accurate documentation and market access.
Provide mentorship lead reviews and influence industry standards and regulatory strategies.
Represent Stryker in industry forums and participate in customerfocused activities like VOC and BETA tests.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
6 years of engineering experience
4 years in RF/wireless testing
Experience in a regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the medical device development lifecycle and risk management.
Experience in RF/wireless testing with regulatory certification (e.g. FCC CE MIC).
Strong understanding of wireless standards (WiFi Bluetooth) and RF measurement techniques.
Experience in managing thirdparty labs and global certification processes.
Demonstrated ability to drive compliance and influence regulatory/industry standards.
