We are searching for a Senior Accounting Associate to join the Accounting and Finance team. We are a team of nine handling all accounting and finance for our North America operations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in client invoicing vendor invoicing and general accounting
This role will be based out of our Phoenix AZ or Chicago IL offices. The expectation of being in the office is minimal just a few times a month at most for team meetings. This position allows the employee the ideal mix of working remotely and in the office.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of client invoices and supporting documentation in connection with client orders and contracts
- Collection activities related to assigned clients based on payment terms
- Assisting with the entry review and reconciliation of vendor invoices.
- Researches and resolves questions and issues independently and ensures information in all systems is accurate and properly recorded
- Internal and external communications with clients/vendors and BTS Account Managers
- Audit of employee expenses including followup with consultants as needed
- Documenting and updating accounting processes and procedures
- Financial analysis and special projects as directed
What Were Looking For
- A degree in an Accountingrelated field is required and experience in an accounting role is a MUST.
- Ability to work in a remote environment but also staying connected to the team via Slack and email throughout the working day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is necessary in this team environment.
- Being a problem identifier as well as a problem solver is vital.
- Experience with multiple currency is a plus.
- Curiosity creativity dependable initiative and roll up your sleeves mentality.
- Eligible to work in the US permanently without sponsorship.
Salary Information
Annual Salary Range: $55000 $70000
- Starting salary is determined by experience and education/degree level
