Location: Orange County NY
Salary: $100000 $130000

Position Overview
As the Integration & Automation Engineer youll own endtoend system integrationsdesigning building and managing the connections that make our platforms run smoothly. From APIs to middleware to internal process automation this role requires technical savvy creative problemsolving and strong collaboration with both developers and business users.
MustHaves:
- Handson experience with APIs REST JSON and XML
- Integration tools like Zapier Dell Boomi MuleSoft or custom automation builds
- Ability to troubleshoot document and optimize integrations
- Understanding of transactional logic system workflows and data mapping
- Excellent communication across technical and nontechnical teams

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement integrations between internal and thirdparty platforms
- Collaborate with software developers and external vendors to build and test APIs
- Manage automation tools and workflows (Zapier Boomi custom scripts etc.)
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot integration issues and apply fixes
- Document technical specifications workflows and integration logic
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA)
- Maintain employee devices and software tools; recommend new technology as needed
- Suggest improvements to backend operations and internal systems
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software development concepts and system integration
- Experience with middleware platforms or custom automation tools
- Familiarity with transactionbased systems billing and data exchange protocols
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Great communicator with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in SaaS fintech or ecommerce environments
- Basic scripting/programming experience (e.g. Python JavaScript)
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
