Summary
We are currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team at ATC Healthcare. This position plays a vital role in delivering highquality patient care by assessing and treating patients with respiratory conditions. You will work in various healthcare settings ensuring optimal respiratory function and patient comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients respiratory conditions and vital signs to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments including ventilator management and medication administration.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and home care techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments treatments and progress.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience.
- Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology related to respiratory care.
- Experience in emergency medicine or trauma settings is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
